How is $250 for a bumper respray (includes base and clear) + the mirrors getting resprayed? Very reputable body shop that has worked on the same make/model/color of my car for another azine member and did a fantastic job.

Offered to do the whole front clip (fenders, bumper, mirrors, and hood) for $550.

I personally think that it's a great deal considering the good things that I have heard from this body shop and the fact that it was suggested to me by another azine member locally.

Where is this place? I need my new hood+bumper painted.......I am getting quotes of $800-$1200.

 

OH. I would expect to pay 3x as much in NY too.

 

I got a quote locally for $450 for a repainted bumper and $650 for a hood respray.

If the shop is reputable, go for it!

That's a steal if its quality work. I had my bumper resprayed and Type S Mirrors painted for $250 but that was family that did it, so i expected that price to be the "family discount" haha.

 

Did you notice any discernible difference between the color of the bumper and the hood/front fenders? I'm worried that if I do just the bumper than it will be a huge difference in appearance between the bumper/hood/fenders since the fenders and hood will still have white specs and rock chips.

no. somebody had accidentally backed into my car in a parking lot and damaged the rear bumper...so i bought a new bumper off of AckTL05 (vendor) and my friend painted it for me.

That is a great price, the entire front end will be new.
Is the Paint going to be matched perfect? and Quality is Very important, more so than Price to me,

 

Make sure the paint match is good. I saw a TSX at school that one half was a dark cherry color and the other half was the original milano red.

 

I would also like to know this shop. My front bumper and hood and mirrors are all chipped up. repainting, then getting a bra.

 

The shop is in Ohio. No-no on the bra. Body shop manager made it very clear that they are a bad idea. Bubbles will form. You WILL see the bra after a few weeks. It's not worth it. Just go to a shop that has a lifetime warranty on their work and ask them if they will touch up the bumper if it gets real bad.
