Bumper Plugs are in!
Bumper Plugs are in!
I have seen a few discussion on filling the front bumper plate holes with the plugs from Acura. I could never see what they looked like, so I decided to be the one to spend the $20 and order some.
Here is the before pic:

and the after:

The small backing bracket was missing on mine where someone had knocked them out, so it didn't fill really tight like it should. So I added a couple drops of super glue to the back side of the clips. Once that is dry, I will add a bit of RTV silicone just for extra insurance. Yes, the car is dirty, being cleaned as soon as I finish this post.

Yay! I just got some as well this week, except don't kick yourself in the a** yet. I got mine free from my dealer. Picked it up from service and walked over to the Parts dept. I asked if they ever keep the bumper plugs because my body shop took them off (true story)
They pulled out a shopping bag FULL of them.
All I saw were $$$$ signs because of the money some people on here have paid! LoL
They handed me two NBP ones and off I went. Didn't snap a picture yet, but it's amazing what two little plugs will do!
Car looks great! Others, try your local parts dept. first!

I'm assuming that question was in jest?
It snaps right in, just align the two clips on the inside of the plug and it's quite simple.I on the other hand had quite the difficult time hahaha! Being a woman with longer nails, the damn things kept falling out my hand when I tried to push them in. It must have been quite a site for the guys at the dealership to see a chick in a dress at 9am on the ground in front of her TL searching for a dropped bumper plug

I learned some patience and waited til I got home to tackle the "tough install" LoL

Looks good, I did the same thing last week only to get home and find out somone before me drilled an additional 3rd hole on the top right into the bumper. I was pissed!! I was going to get a swift plate, but now I guess I gotta rock the plate on the bumper
^ for real?? but i bet if you drive your no front Nevada car in California that you will have to have a front plate because you will have to abide by California's laws and regulations correct??
No. How do you expect a person to get a front plate when Nevada only issues one plate? You only have to abide my California laws if you're a resident of that state and your car is registered in that state.
for your no front plate issue i have heard someone claim theirs was stolen(from the story i heard, it was actually stolen) so they put down a claim for it and it was supposed to take 2months to replace the license plate. meanwhile the driver got to drive around without a plate and when he got pulled over he just showed them a permit and was let off. Not sure if it really takes that long to replace a license plate
Well. I bought a whole bunch of stuff so it ended up being included in that.
All three type S grills, two chrome bars that go on the lower grills, battery cover, bumper plugs. shipping was 7 bucks for everything
Nice yeah the plugs really help clean up the front end if you dont run a front plate.
Just a heads up though some dealerships will actually give you them for free. Ask the parts guy or someone in service if they have the bucket laying around with bumper plugs. The guy came out and said here it is take your pick. Found a couple in my color and I was on my way.

However, if you get pulled over you can still get ticketed for not having california plates even if the title isn't in your name. The "this isn't my car, I'm just driving my dad's car while he's in town." story doesn't work, at least not for me...
I'm a perfectionist, and seeing those two little holes on the front bumper drove me crazy. I was very enthused when I got mine (albeit for free!) and completed the front end. To each his own, there's been more minor things celebrated on the forums than the addition of bumper plugs.
Well, to those that were offended by my post, don't click on it. You knew what it was about by the title. And since I am fairly new here, I have seen many threads discussing the plugs, but no pictures, I had no idea what they looked like installed. I searched and couldn't find a single picture. So for the benefit of others like me, I posted some. By the way, if you start a comment with "no offense" too late.
Down partially on the stock bolts, couldn't go any lower with the Koni's that were on the car, replaced them with C6 Z06 shocks that allowed me to drop it all of the way down. Car was just off jack stands when the picture was taken, so it hadn't settled.
