SUPER BUMMED, pretty challenging weekend, but I wont get into the history, only the part that was the "crowning" moment...an in actuality if this is the worst it gets, I am in good shape, still ticked at myself though.

Was backing out of the driveway and scapped my front passenger side bumper against our electrical box. seperated the front bumper from the wheel-well to just about under the lights, was seperated from the seam by about 3". After some bending, I got it back in, but it still sticks out about 1/4" and of course has the scrape marks below the seam from the electrical box.

So I am looking for a replacement, already posted in the black market. Have found two, one on ebay,

not sure if it is OEM so that scares me, and one at a dealer that I am pretty certain is oem for $262 with shipping, though I would have to get it painted. -Isnt there a member on here that works for a dealer and can get good pricing?

I guess I could get a newer 07/08 bumper, not too interested in that really, not sure I will ever get any type of body kit, so not sure if the 07/08 would really benefit me.

Ack05TL has the hookup with dealership parts. However, I'm having a bit of an issue with the Type S A-Spec lip that I got through him (and therefore Curry Acura). It was damaged in shipment and I can't get the guy from the dealership to call or email me back. I think it is an isolated incident because everyone has had good luck ordering through Ack.

Yes, it should come already painted. And your link isn't working, but I believe the non-OEM front bumpers are lacking the "ACURA" imprint.

 

hmmm, not sure about the link, this was the one that i could find on Ebay that did have the imprint, gotta have the imprint.
