Which Bulbs Do People With Backup Cameras Use???

Hey guys, for those of you guys with the backup camera...what license plate bulbs do you guys use? I got a single-LED bulb in there and i can't see jack at night. Does anybody have a recommended brand that will light up the ground a little better? Thanks!!!

I'm using the WLED-WHP Bulb from superbrightleds.com that mother is very bright and casts a good amount of light out so you can see at night! Downside is that there 4.95 a piece, but I'd definately reccommend them! Here's a link to the site!

I had the PIAA superwhite bulbs in the reverse lights and it was great....

Now I have some LED's from autolumination.com and they aren't as good in terms of lighting up the road... when I have a chance... I'm gonna swap my PIAA back in the reverse light... they were much better for the reverse cam at night... IMO

I did the cold cathode mod with my license plate lights and they light up the ground pretty well.

Yeah, I'd also like to replace the back-up lights (not licence plate lights) with something brighter; with Wendy's cam I can't see anything when backing up at night unless the area is lit well already.

I'm still using the stock bulbs with Wendy's camera. Vision at night is okay with me (possibly because the streets are usually also well lit).

I remember a thread on that mod, have been searching for hours, but can't find it. You don't know where it is do you?

I put 12LED whites in the reverse, lights up fine for me. Has a nice cool, white blue hue. i have some white 5 WLED-WHP's in my license. Dont like them - its a pure white, I like the blue hue of normal LED's so I'll be switching to white 9leds. If I wanted bright white, I'd stick piaa's in there.
