Build dates question

Does anyone know when Acura stopped building the 2008 TL? I was just wondering becuase my TL-S was built in 03/2008. Were they built any later then that?

Thanks

How do you find out the manufacture date? I'll check it on mine.

There should be a sticker in the door jam of the drivers side door that has the build date.

Hi, I'm new to AZ. The car industry model year starts during the fall, around August 2008 for '09.

08/08 on the sticker in the drivers door of mine. Might also be coded in the VIN, but I don't know for sure.

I'm surprised they were manufacturing them as late as July and August. I remember waiting until the 4G came out before buying my 3G both to see if the new design was worth it, and if not, then to save some $$ on an outdated model...lol

The 4G's were delivered to some dealerships as early as late September, so they really made the 3G right up to the end. I wonder how long it takes a factory to re-tool for a new generation release...

I waited until I was able to see the 4th Gen too, once I saw the front I instantly made up my mind to go with the '08. I'm still very happy that I did, although I usually try to buy in the 2nd or 3rd year of a model run I hate the grille on the 4th gen.

05/08 is my build date. I'm surprised that it's actually one of the older ones that have been posted so far... May is my birthday too!

July is my birthday! That's a funny coincidence for us. I wish I could find out what day it rolled off the line!

mglax13, can you give me more details on your V-LED 68 SMT 9005 DRL and harness set up? Does the V-LED give the DRLs a white color as opposed to the stock yellow ones? Pics? I tried Nokya Arctic Whites but the wattage isn't compatible, so I just gave up on that. Thanks, Jeff
