Bridgestone Engineering Dept
Bridgestone Engineering Dept
For those who are interested in finding out what the deal is with the EL-42's I placed a call into the Bridgestone Engineering Dept (800) 847-3272.
I have not received a call back as of yet.

Good luck to you.
They may chage their attitude now and serve you better. Way back to Dec., I ever called Bridgestone Service Lines and got response that I should address this EL42 issue to my Acura dealer.

Speaking of return calls/responses, ACS, when I exhausted any further discussion about the tires, recommended I write to the president of Honda America. So I did. A month ago. That sound you hear is crickets chirping.
If I do not get a call back then a complaint gets filed with the NHSTA, in my opinion these tires are a safety hazard and I am giving Bridgestone the opportunity to explain what they are doing to correct this problem.
Safety hazard? Uh, it's a little harsh... you may be right though.
May I know what parts of EL42s make you so unhappy?
I personally think EL42 is just not as good as it says... IMO, it's doesn't hurt the safety so much yet. Acura just picks the wrong tires.
