Hey everyone, just found AcuraZine a week ago and was looking at all of the awesome 3G TL's you guys have and i'm very jealous. Got my 2007 TL about a month ago, bought it used for $17k with 71k miles from a dealer and the previous owner kept it in a garage so the paint in near perfect. The only change so far is tinting the windows 20%, but I want to start modding it much more. My brother showed me plasti dip the other day and how he did his rims on his Evo so I decided to try some stuff on my TL. Did my rims, emblems, grille, plate covers, and side markers. I want to eventually change my headlights and tail lights to match. There are some very informative guides on here and I will definitely be using those. Nice to meet everyone.

When I got it before the changes.

After the plasti dip experiments and window tint. The front grille looks much better in different light, that wasn't the best angle to take a pic from that evening.

Nice before and after pics. How long did it take you to do the emblems and grill? I've never used plasti dip before but I've seen it used on alot of different TL's and it looks good.

Not long at all, the most time consuming part was masking everything off around what you are spraying. Plasti dip dries in 10-15 minutes so you just have to go back inside or something until all 4-5 coats are done.
