Brakes in Severe Cold!!!

good morning guys.

i did some searches and didn't find my particular problem........

in Boston, its been damn cold lately and every morning after the car warms up my rear brakes are squeaking. Until I warm the brakes in traffic, the sound goes away.

Is this a normal thing with TL brakes?

i know they aren't warped or anything, and i don't feel any vibrations.

any help?

Great to see another fellow Bostonian here on the board! The squeaking is normal. The rotors are metal the brake pads are semi-metalic. Rust forms overnight on the pads and rotors as the car sits. And it's the rubbing off of the rust and cold metal to metal contact that will cause noise sometimes. I get it also especially if it is very cold outside like the past few days.
