hey guys, i know this has been discussed a lot ... but i was wondering what you guys though of ebay pads for my car. I was thinking of getting specifically these ... i need new front pads for my tl http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Acura...Q5fAccessories

why are some pads soo much cheaper than others??
do they not last as long, or is it that i lose the bite that i have right now???

Looks like C-Tek is a lower range product from Centric. I know some folk have used the Posi-Quiet in the Brembo rotor; not sure of the success/satisfaction witht the Posi-Quiet pads.

I'd say, "Hmmmm $35,000 car with performance oriented brakes and $25 pads? Something doesn't add up".

Of course they *may* be perfectly functional and acceptable - - but I'd spend a little more on a better known brand/product line for peace of mind.

you get what you pay for...it cant be more true. i would never trust my life with $25 pads. theres a reason why they are so cheap, i think.

 

that is true ... but i have got some cheap stuff on ebay that has turned out to be great
