That is basically how I have bedded-in brakes for quite a few years. However, my 6MT squeals like a stuck pig at low speeds and light brake application. Other than that, the car is perfect, I just wish it did not squeal.

Mine squeak occasionally, nothing serious at all. Of you have persistent loud noise I 'd take it in. They can readjust the pads and lubricate the components to eliminate the noise.

anyway I can get mine not to squeak even though I have 900 miles on them? I was very gentle to the brakes (and still somewhat am)

FOLLOW STEPS ABOVE.....

I have 2000 miles on mine already. i am still trying to find the time to perform the brake bedding. I'll try them this weekend. Go to the original posting and click on the link. Follow those steps and you should be fine....

I had the same squealing, although I would catagorize it as screaming. It went away after about 1700 miles without any intervention or bedding

Yes I have a 6MT. And the sound has returned from the dead. It's going in for service tomorrow. I'll post the results.
