BRAKE PADS THE SAME FOR 99-07 tl ??

Exclamation BRAKE PADS THE SAME FOR 99-07 tl ??

i need to get some pads and was wondering if the pad is thesame for 99-07 for a base 04 non brembo. ebay has pads for cheap and stock ones too but hey range from 99-07. is this accurate?? and what are some recomended brands besides oem ones?

I believe they are the same- check a parts place online like kragen and run a few years to see if the number changes
Cheap pads may leave your car 3 feet shorter 1 day. think about it- 20 bucks more now vs an accident.
Its the interaction of the pads and rotors that make the car stop.
The TL is a heavy car with a lot of inertia
I would not use cheap brakes in front on my baby-
The best pads are only 80 bucks or so for the fronts
On my car the rears got kragen rotors and RacingBrake et300 pads- but most anything is fine in back. Fronts got trick RacingBrake rotors and their pads- plus I changed the calipers to Legend 2 piston units and have the stealthy stopping machine
Great mod for $150 for those interested
