Brake pad change...

FTR, im not upgrading, im just installing OEM brake pads from acura. Im wondering if i need any special tools? and by special i mean like an air wrench or something of that nature.

Really dumb question i know, i just need some reassurance

and i would search, but im already late for work.

Thanks guys!

No, you can use hand tools, in fact I would recommend not using any air tools on it. Let us know if you need any other advice.

might want a breaker bar, or at least a good/long torque wrench, cuz those caliper bolts are going to be super @ss tight, if you haven't had the brakes changed yet.

If you're just changing the pads, you don't need any special tools. If you're going to have the rotors turned off the car, then you'll need an impact screwdriver or drill to remove or drill out the rotor retaining screws. And you'll need a torque wrench to retighten the caliper bolts.

All of this has been covered many, many times already. Search is your friend. There are several DIYs with pictures in the 3G Garage.
