Brake Pad Assistance Needed!!
So I've got a 07 TL-S and it's time to change the pads. I've got a couple of questions....
1. What specific brake pad would you get for the Brembos?
2. If the pad change as simple as other non-Brembo calipers? Or do I need a special tool to compress the Brembo calipers?
Please help!! Thank you guys!

Its in the gen3 Garage (DIY) section - you do need a special tool or some major skills to get the pistons on each side retracted evenly-
its easiest to open the brake bleeder valve(s) and compress them.
It means a brake fluid bleed/flush, but thats good to do every year anyway.
Rotora makes a ceramic pad, see Excelerate
RacingBrake makes a ferro carbon type pad that are awesome. ET500 is their designation
see MrHeelToe for those
for more suggestions go to Off Topic link at top of page- then scroll down to Sponsored Sales- thats the approved and trusted vendors of acurazine

Here are two links that I was involved in quite heavily with my Rotex Gold Kevlar pads for my '04 manual TL. Hope these help you. If you have any other questions, I'll try to help you.

I bought some front and rear brake pads for our 2005 6mt.
I got ebc ultimax online at auto parts warehouse, about $60.00 for the fronts, the back pads were less.
They look real quality, and are supposed to be easy on the rotors, likely like the stock pads without as much dust.
I have not installed them yet, maybe this weekend, with a tire rotation, if I have time.
I think the original pads are at about 40% at 35,000 miles, but I might change them to reduce the dust.
