brake caliper piston compressor

Time for brakes on 2 06 MTs. Is there an aftermarket alternative to this tool or another method of compressing the pistons on the brembo ? If needed where do you buy it ? thanks much sa

Screwdriver with a rag on the end. Just be careful not to gouge the rotors. Works fine.

go to autozone, they should be able to rent you out a piston compressor.

I used a screwdriver and used my hands to move the pistons the rest of the way away from the rotor.

Screwdriver.....the Brembo pistons return to the bores with very little effort. Much easier then the rear ones that I use a big "C" clamp on.

With the screw-driver, use the old pads as leverage to compress the pistons, then remove the old pads.
