Bought a TL...finally!

hello everyone, i am very new here...my bro just ordered an acura tl from Curry Acura, Scarsdale..night hawk black with ebony interior, 6spd mt. Bought at $200 over invoice excluding tax+licensing. i was looking around in the forum if anyone had gotten a better deal...but i think the best i saw was $1500 below MSRP for non-nav. oh by the way, my bro's tl is non-nav...so i think that is a great price unless someone got a better deal than he did. looks like TL's are available in plenty (the non-nav ones). ...one more question...does everyone here buy nav just for looks or is it for real use? i just think that nav is really distracting.

Happy for you to join the club!.

What's the invoice?. I think that is what I paid plus the required delivery of $545.00. Without the protection package, I paid 30,300. They got me on the trade -$16,000.00 for my 2001 TL. I had to go to the dealer this morning to hand over the old title. I saw my old car already cleaned up for sale as "certified". I'll check on the price on the internet, but I suspect they will ask for 21000 for the old car. That's life.

Same exact dealer as mine, Curry Acura in Scarsdale, NY.

My buying experience there:

The Experience of another forum member who took my advice and bought there:

You can almost name your price anywhere if you want a 5AT/Non-Navi. Most dealers are flooded with them and the faster they can turn unsold inventory, the better.

damn....u got it at 30,300? thats awesome....my dealer was an old man named Lee Diack....he is a very nice man...and from what u guys are saying, i am pretty sure everyone else at Curry Acura is nice. yea the 5AT can be got at invoice. and to answer Jondeutsch's question, the invoice is 30,299.64 as the dealer had quoted to me. It is the same as what was given at kbb.com. anyway take care y'all. cant wait for the TL to arrive.
