Bought a 3rd TL Type S AGAIN

So after owning 2 TL vehicles, I had a nice one last year kbp 6mt, and sold it because I was unaware of the accidents it had so it took me about 15 months to find this gem, No accidents, 1 owner that is retired and kept it in excellent shape and I had to jump right on it, it's a 2008 type s 6 speed, with only 37,000kms that's only 23,000 Miles basically like new lol, anyways it's a keeper and I'm happy with it forsure!!! Posted some pics below.

PS: what's the newest maps out there? what's the disc called exactly, thanks

Wow, certainly a holy grail of TLs right there, congrats! I have double that mileage on my '07, and I still consider it very low.

Lol, yah it is very low mileage I was very surprised that this senior only drove 6,000kms a year roughly 3,700 miles a year, and yes this color is hard to find and is rate to come across with 6 speed MT took me 15 months to find

KBP with ebony interior 6mt, one owner, 23,000 miles.... That gets an A+ in my book, and I'm picky to say the least!
The combined mileage on our cars is probably around a 1/4 what most 07/08's have

Congrats on the purchase, that's a mighty fine vehicle there.

Did you have to travel to find it? I look daily for a Type S, but being in the PNW they are very difficult to find that either haven't been in a collision or don't have 120k+ miles

Yes I had to travel to another city in my province so it wasn't too far it was only 280km away (170 miles) so it was definitely worth it.

jts97z28 probably has had more 3G TL's than most ppl have had cars lol.

IIRC, it was a 1 nhbp base, 1 nhbp type S 5at, 1 kbp type S 5at, 1 nhbp type S 6mt, 1 cbp 5at, and currently MRP type S 6mt

Funny you ask that as I just had the front of my car clear bra'd the other day. A highly rated local guy did the job using what he claims is the best (xpel). Turned out great and now I can drive a lot more comfortably knowing the front of my baby is protected. It was a full front bumper, 24" up hood and fenders, and mirrors kit. Cost me $600, he came to my garage to do it. He asked if my car was repainted or something as who gets an 8 year old car clear bra'd lol. I showed him the odometer and he said ahhh I see lol. I highly recommend getting it done and do it asap while your mileage is still relatively low.

A great sign that multiple TL buyers are willing to buy the same car, several years down the line. Probably only a few only car models that share this - BMW 3-series, Subarus, Honda Accord/Civics.

As for mileage - my car at 107k is running as well as ever, 35+ mpg on the freeway. Also a new lease on life with the timing belt service and a tablet computer replacing the navigation. Truly love this car!

I would get the lastest disl from the alpine dealer that makes the navi. My navi in my 07 went out and warranty was long gone. it cost me like over $400 to get the dvd reader fixed plus a new disc

Definitely over 30+ MPG (used an online conversion calculator).
