Bottom seat cushion really worn. Replacement ?'s

Hello, guys.

My bottom driver side cushion is very worn and just looks really bad. I looked on AcuraOEMparts.com and they have it for $137. Any of you guys replaced the bottom cushion yourselves or how much did a shop charge to reupholster it?

Thanks!

I have done it on my integra. It's not very difficult, unless the seat warmers or some other fancy feature adds to the difficulty.

I'd say it'd be kind of difficult, with all of the power seat settings and seat warmers. PM Inaccurate and get his expertise, I believe he's dissected his seats

If it's the full cover, not a terribly difficult job to replace, but the seat needs to be removed and disassembled. Heater pad is usually attached to the cushion, not the cover.

This doesn't include the lower side bolsters, right?

Oh man. For some reason i thought it was 14

Def not spending $500 on a seat cover. I am gonna keep looking out for one at junkyards. All the junk yards next to my house have 3-4 TL's, but they all have Black interior's.

Check this site (the owner, Chris, is a very nice guy)- he's in PA, so maybe a little far for you, but if you can find a similar shop in MD, you might be able to save quite a bit of $$$ vs. replacing the seat cover, which will be substantially more money. It's actually amazing what a good leather repair shop can do.
