First off who really makes Acura TL's body kit? Does Acura really make the kit themselves? Secondly, what is the wholesale price on the kit including (front, back and sides)?? Thirdly, how hard is it to put on yourself? Does it just fit over the existing body or do you have to removed anything?

 

Nice try... The best/only way to save money on it is to buy it from one of the Acura dealerships that sells it online (ie eBay). Around $800 I think

 

HA HA EVEN BETTER!!!! Just got off the phone with Acura Customer Service and there is a long story behind this but they just agreed as a Acura Goodwill gesture to give me the full kit for $0.00 and they are calling my Acura Service Manager to setup an appointment to have them install it. My car over the last 5 months has been back and for to the dealership for a leaking back window that they couldn't fix, check engine light, seat memory, pealing paint. A total of 53 days at dealerships. I DESERVE IT!!!!!!

Yes they fixed all my problems. DCH Montclair Acura SUCKS BALLZ!!!! THEY ARE THE WORST!!! Thats where i brought my car to begin with to get service and Tony and Frank over there are PRICKS!!!. I F*CKING BOUGHT MY CAR FROM THEM!!!! Anyways a little anger there...but i ended up going to OPEN ROAD ACURA OF WAYNE NEW JERSEY. Mike the service manager over there is such and awsome dude. He takes the time to talk to you and explain things unlike the PRICKS @ DCH Montclair Acura. I've been there sooo many times that Mike and I are like best buds. Nothing wrong with being on your sevice managers good side.

 

Does anyone here know how the whole kit mounts?

 

The kit basically goes over the existing front/rear bumper. Very easy to do if you know how to read directions and somewhat mechanically inclined.
