Unhappy body kit questions

hi, i am new to the forum and have a few questions for you guys. i just picked up a wdp auto w/nav three days ago. this is the first import ive ever owned and i have to tell you, i love this damn car. it will make it hard for me to go back to and american car after driving this. except for the viper!! When i bought the car i had planned on getting the 18" rims and full body kit with the deck lid spoiler. i ordered the body kit and i have been looking at some of the cars with it on this forum. i have to say, i love the way the front looks with it and i like the sides with it, but i think the car looks better without it in the back. maybe its just me but does anyone else feel this way too? my queston is, do you think it would look stupid to put the front and sides on without the back? if anyone has this combination can you please post some pictures. thanks in advance. sorry i dont have the pics of my car in here but i will take some and post them right away.

I had the same thoughts....but i got the whole aero-kit on my anthracite grey and I love the way it looks.....i think dark color color cars blend the bodykit better.

Scotty,
I had the same thoughts with my 03 TL-S and actually had the front and side underbody kit, and had splash guards in the rear, but the car looked STUPID, because it looked low in the front and sides, and looked kind of unfinished in the rear.
I have the full body kit on my 04, and i'll say is better to have everything on.

You might try going to http://www.acura.com/bap/bap_step1a....MODEL=UA6624KW

You can configure the car options and it will give you a picture of what it looks like. It's not a real big picture, but good enough to get the basic idea. After playing around with it for awhile, my favorite combiniation was with the front under body spoiler, side under body spoiler and rear wing spoiler. I think the rear under body spoiler makes it look to bulky.

I ended up only getting the rear wing spoiler, but with chrome wheels, and am really happy with it. I'm still thinking about adding the under body options later though.

Check out my gallery for before and after pictures.

Wink

thanks for the feedback. i did go on the acura website and configured the car with it but it is very hard to tell because the changes are so subtle. i guess if im not sure about the body kit then maybe i should just hold off for now. im not unhappy with the way the car looks as it is but i wanted to spice it up a little bit. however i dont want to try something i may not like and then not be able to put it back to stock. if anyone has any pics with the body kit minus the rear section please post em.

I actually thought of just getting the front and rear instead of the sides. It kinda looks like there`s a flair to the sides already. But ended up with the whole package.

Just FYI, this isnt an import car. TSX = Real Import car. the TL is made in Ohio. which explains the crappy issue with the vibration. I love my TL besides that its made in Ohio.

i guess i learn something new every day. by the way i have not had any vibration issues yet and the last numbers of the vin are in the 22000 range. maybe i just got lucky with the tires.

I've got a 5000 vin and I don't have the problem, either.
