Bluetooth for non-Bluetooth phone

Hi, everyone. I have a Motorola T721 phone which I really like. Now that I have my new TL, I was wondering if I can buy some sort of attachment to make my phone Bluetooth compatible (like those Macintosh computers). I signed up for a 2 yr contract with AT&T and didn't feel like spending money to get a new phone.

Thanks for your help!

I just re-signed with Sprint and have the Sanyo 8100 and they informed me that there is no way to make my phone bluetooth capable.

You should be able to swap out your phone under the same plan. As to your question, it is hard to say. I have a handsfree Jabra headset that comes with a bluetooth adapter that allows a non bluetooth phone to work with the headset, but I am not sure if they make an adapter to interface with other components. The cost will probably be as high, or higher than getting a bluetooth phone to begin with.

Just call ATT CS and ask them how they can help you get into a Bluetooth phone and stick with your current plan.

Good luck

Not really

The compatibility is not the only issue. It needs to have a hadsfree profile capability. Any module probably will work for connecting with headset profile. Try to find a module capable of handsfree profile, and it might work. However, I doubt any modules will be available to do that.
