Exclamation Blue LEDs, Please Help...

So one day I was looking in one of the forums (cant remember which one) and found a picture/instructions on changing the window buttons to the "Acura Blue." As I was reading about it my computer suddenly shut down!!! I've searched for two hours now and haven't been successful in finding the page again. Can anyone direct me to the proper location of the thread or some pictures?

Also, can anyone give me the exact model number(s) of the LED used on the bottom of the doors and the super white I've heard about so often?

I'm not exactly sure after reading your post, but I think you want to replace the interior and door lights.

Brewmaster & Adam-

Thanks for the help! I don't believe this was the same thread I was looking at however it is exactly what I'm looking for. Can this mod be done on a '05 TL? If so, is this something that I would be able to do or would it be a better idea to have a pro do it. I'm not familiar with the differences between the 2GTLs and the 3GTLs.

Also, as far as the Super-White LEDs...In your opinion, is this something worth changing? I think I'll change the lights on the bottom of the doors to the blue but personally feel the blue in the overhead is a bit much for me. That being said, I would be interested in what others feel about changing the OEM overhead lights to the Super-White LEDs. Any ideas?

ALSO...Is changing the Window/Door lock buttons as easy as changing the bulbs or is more work involved. I noticed, when not illuminated, the color of the buttons are a very slight greenish color. Does anyone know if this will interfere with the blue color or will it have no change (when illuminated)?

Talking

I have the blue LED's in my interior. Both front doors, rear seats and over the center console. I like them and get a lot of compliments and comments. I do not think it is overkill in the center overhead area. If you need light you can always use the vanity light behind the visors!

I bought both WHITE and BLUE LEDs because I figured the BLUE would be fun to try, but I would be more conservative and use the WHITE.

After two months of usage, I have had compliments from five different people (old and young, male and female) that the BLUE lights really compliment the stock lighting in the dash and console during both the day and the evening.

In fact, one person was surprised that the BLUE lights were not stock! I told him that I modded something in the interior and he couldn't figure it out!!!

Anyone tried blue on Camel interior or would that be fugly?

I'm thinking the stock lighting with the regular touch of yellow lights the camel brown to it's intended warmth and that the blue or superwhite leds might make it cold, but not cool looking like ebony does.

Now blue side doors, that's another story!

Visor lights?

Anyone tried replacing the yellowish visor lights with WHITE? I cannot figure out how to get the covers off without a lot of force...
