You can kiss the coverage of your headlights by a dealership goodbye....but don't worry, if you follow directions, you won't mess anything up

I just did mine 3 days ago. Looks wicked. Look for my upcoming thread in the photograph gallery. It's the baking part that gets everyone wary. Everyone thinks twice before starting this project, but you just have to go for it. If you are careful there's nothing to worry about. Don't rush, keep a entire day to do it and be well prepared. It looks and sounds like a bad idea but you'll realize you were more worried than you should have been. It's worth the trouble.

The only thing in the back of my head is the risk of any problems in the long term concerning the ballast/bulbs etc that I know the dealer won't cover anymore. The way I look at it though is my car has close to 20k in 1 yr. In another 1 1/2 yrs. my warranty is up anyways. If I anticipate any problems it would be only after 4-5 yrs; by which time I probably will sell the car anyways!

You can always use rockblocker to black out your lights. Personally I don't like this look but it's an option. I'm just nervous about getting my bumper off and not being able to get it back on and aligned properly.

I have a similar question about the headlights/sidelights/taillights. Is it legal? I really would like to swap out the side markers, but I dont want to have any problems come inspection time.
