Black plastic board under the front bumper

The black plastic board under the front bumper is sooo annoying. Everytime i park my car i end up hitting the side curve, leaving scratch marks and scrapes. I looked under my front bumper this morning and that big black plastic board is pretty much scraped up.

What you are referring to is I believe what they call the strake or the air deflector. Just get a new one....they are under $10 for the main one. It is listed as #29 on this list here:

74112-SEP-A00 PLATE, FR. AIR GUIDE (LOWER)12005TL list8.97 sell 7.18

I scrape mines every so often.. while getting off of the side-walk-ramp-thing it scares me because I don't know exactly what I'm scraping at the time--well I do but I just fear it's not the bumper.
If you scrape yours due to parking.. maybe you need to park a different way as to it doesn't scratch.

Tip to prevent it....leave or enter those curbs at a slight angle at the last minute in order to leave ONE WHEEL AT A TIME instead of both wheels falling off the curb at the same time.....95% of the time it will not scrape then.

Thanks! I never thought about that! Entering is always fine... it's just exiting that curb ramp thing.. there are some in Montreal that are like an inch 1/2 high off the ground. Seriously wtf?
