Black Chrome Emblems Amp'd and installed!

Sorry for some picture re-posts.
Here they are! Heeltoe Black Chrome front & rear A emblems, Amp'd by Steve with the new Hyper White Extreme LEDs.
On to the pics!

Fresh out of the box from Marcus:

Comparison of the original Amp'd emblem and the Hyper Extreme LEDs:

Installed Day shots:

Installed Night shots:

They look great! The Hyper Extreme LEDs are much brighter, which was important for me, especially in the front, where the old emblem was washed out by all of the other lights. The design of the recess works against the Amp'd effect, as well.
I think that if you're considering these in white, you should go with the Hyper bulbs, especially if your car is one of the darker colors.
Many thanks to Marcus from Heeltoe and Steve from Amp'd Emblems. I am very happy with the results.

Love the emblems but lit ones score an 8 out of 10 on the rice-o-meter to me. Maybe guys with body kitted 01 civic would care for me but I don't see this being the new thing on luxury sedans for 2011 and beyond...lol.

Hi Surfer.

One question. Have you ever seen one of these in person? Ask the ones that have...or that have one...and get their opinion.

Also, I have no doubt, that if someone drives a "Rice Mobile", and adds this (or probably anything) to it, it could enhance it's "Rice Rating". But just by adding this to one's car, does not.

Thanks,

Amp'd

I'm see'g them now... If they lit up fully continuous underneath the emblem instead of looking like there are separate lights, I'm sure they would look better. But they still wouldn't be for "me". I'm sure they'll get many sales I assure you...lol.

Once again, do not get on tl.acurazine.com if you do not plan to spend $$$! Been wanting to have dark chrome emblems on ASS. When you get one thing done, might as well go for a complete package! However...

I just can't justify spending $600+ for some better looking emblems/doorsills with glow:

$200 (dark chrome emblems) + $200 (light up door sills - https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=797691&page=5) + $200 (amp'ed emblems - http://shop.ampdemblems.com/Ampd-Acu...04?productId=4)

while i'm looking at this $800-900 piece of fine equipment:

http://www.audison.eu/index_main.php?Section=BITONE

Guess there are just too many things I wanna do on my list... one day... one day... may be I'll get to this mod LoL...

A couple of things:
1) The whole Rice vs Nice debate has been done. I posted the pics to show what I have done so others can see, as well. I don't particularly care what you think of them, although those that like it are welcome to post. While I understand this is the internet, the discussion has already been done.
2) The custom CSL spoiler for the TL is a specific piece. PM user KB1Spec for more info.
3) Yes, these emblems are pricey---especially with the Amp'd treatment. But the vendors are willing to work with their customers to get these sold. Marcus has already announced free shipping and an AZ discount on the emblems. You can also choose to send in your emblems for both Heeltoe and Amp'd modification. Bottom line, BOTH of these vendors are EXCELLENT and cater specifically to the AZ community. Support them and we will continue to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Thanks again to Heeltoe and Amp'd for their continued support of the community!

Though I have not bought from these vendors, very true for the support that they should get from the effort they put in to create the products

Like i said someone will by them. I'll stay with the classier Heeltoe emblem. Honda offered these for my s2000 and i bought them fas. Looked great on the silverstone paint. Now that they are available for the TL i'm on them. But just like ill pass on the "city glow" style, others will pass on Heeltoes. Enjoy...lol.

Just because you put LOL after a negative post, doesn't make it better.

mamamilk008, you'll see after dealing with other places then dealing with us, we are tied to the community and aim to give the absolute most excellent experience to you as a buyer, rather than exist as a simple store to shell out goods.

Haters gonna hate...

Wish these black chromes were available back when I was trying to make these myself. Definitely didn't come out perfectly like these. If I had a light colored car, or a white one...I'd be all over these.

About the Amp'd emblems...there will always be naysayers...on one hand that's good...because I get nothing but compliments on it and I guess people woudn't bother if EVERYONE had em. I can almost guarantee these will start showing up on cars in the future...what better way to advertise the car's brand than by cheaply (in comparison to the cost to build a whole car) light up the emblem with led's.

I started as a critic, but kept an open mind...and don't regret it one friggin bit...the amp'd emblem is amazing and that coupled with the black chrome is a sure winner.

Para is actually the only forum member I've ever gotten "into it" with on this forum on another thread in the last 2 years. Almost got me banned by jumbling my words and interpreting what I was saying. He's a smart guy...and definitely knows his stuff about cars...but he sometimes pawns his opinion off as fact. ...and that is just my opinion.

J.

Can certainly tell alot of time & effort had been put in to get such a high quality product manufactured, and you don't have any problem of standing behind it. I can't complaint anymore that I cannot find/get a set of nice dark chrome emblems for the TL.

I really like the version w/o the rice added. I think they would look great on my ASM TL. I will be buying a set of front and back "A's" if the price is right. Nice work indeed
