and btw 25 days does not equal over a month

 

This was not a group buy I am referring too. When the kits were first released, I paid for the kit. This kit was for everything except the type s badge. It had nothing to do with this front and rear A. What I don't understand is why you are trying to defend, or cloud the issue when you have no idea what you are talking about. What I would rather hear is from the vendor who is remaining very silent on this subject for some reason. If there was a reasonable explanation, I'm sure I would have heard it by now.

 

I'm not sure where greco says 25 days is not a month -- nowhere did I mention 25 days. My PO from Marcus is dated 8/20/10, and my original post was dated 9/24/10. Now, in most parts of this country, that is over a month, maybe not on the east coast -- or is greco having a problem with simple math?

I thought the have the kits in stock since they were selling them on their website but looks like they don't, talk to the vendor or at least try to get a hold of him to see what's going on...

Just ordered almost $1000 in emblems....gulp! Hope you guys like them! I mostly am getting front and rear A emblems since that seems to be the most popular choice for people.

 

Stay tuned guys....once they come in, DWB is going to send his to me to get his Ampd...in white. He is planning on getting the Extreme White (not yet listed on the website-many times brighter than the standard Amp'd Emblem).

I think these Black Chrome emblems look great. Stand by for DWB's pics.

Let me know how many might be interested in a Black Chrome Amp'd Emblem. Warning...they are not cheap.

Hey Guys,

A lot of you have been asking about the Extreme LEDs mentioned a few weeks ago. Here is a picture of an Amp'd Acura with the Extreme LEDs in blue.

2007 TL (my test vehicle).

I will probably be adding them to the website's online store soon. Caution.....they are not inexpensive!!

I received my Black Chrome emblems from Heeltoe yesterday. These things look great!
They are OEM emblems with a Black Chrome finish, something many of us have been trying to accomplish with NightShades and other methods. None of those methods can compare to the quality of these units. Kudos to Marcus at Heeltoe for getting these to market!
Now, they get packed up for a trip to Florida to be Amp'd (thus the teaser). Get ready, Steve!
Will post up again when they are complete.

 

Can't wait for the visit from your Emblems DWB! Are they going to go through the new TSA scanners or opt out for the "enhanced" pat down...

So...here is a little story. I'm driving down the road last night to go out to dinner. I'm behind this car. It's around 8pm so it is dark. I wonder aloud to my girlfriend...."what kind of car is that in front of us?" Hmmm...."I don't know." Why? Because we cant see any emblem in the dark! Then I realized it was a 3G TL-S.

When I see the back of a car at night now, without an Amp'd Emblem®, it looks so empty, plain, and missing something. With all the other mods out there that people do, and with all the pride people that do mods have in their cars, I have to believe that they want that car shown off at night too....just like the day, when people can tell what kind of car they are driving. Especially if it's a hot car! Remember, not the average driver can spot cars by the type of rear lights they have!

Next time you are out for a night drive, take a look at the car in front of you, and see what you think. Then, compare that to the pictures you have seen here on Acurazine, of fellow members that have installed an Amp'd Emblem®.

The price is pretty set, but if you can get your stock emblems off without messing them up we can give you core money for them...$5-10 each depending on the logo. Might be enough to put it over the top for you guys!

Things are progressing. I'm waiting on the United States Postal Service to get everything back to me. Update soon.
