Hey there, our black chrome is getting a lot of comments on "wow they look awesome" and "wow they are pricey"

So I am getting an interest thread going here to find out if we we can make the costs more agreeable.

I played with the numbers a little.

Front and Rear "A" : $89
Front and Rear "A", "ACURA" and "TL" : $145

Shipping is $10 in the US, $15 to Canada

To get these prices I will need to do a GB of at least 50 EMBLEMS (not 50 people, so at minimum we only need 25 people if everyone gets "A"s only)

for a group buy of 25 people i would think they could do a little better on the price for just the front and rear "A" since on acura tl and front and rear "A" there taking like 30 bucks off

The discount is in the volume. Get more emblems and get more discount. The pair is still discounted, just not as much.

You would think we could do better on the price, but we can't really.

 

Pics of what? A TL-S emblem? Go out and look at it. Half the chrome is covered by plastic. This cannot be processed. The only chrome we can process is that which is exposed. So, look at it and let me know, do you think it would be good for us to make these? Would they look good?

I'm assuming the price is for brand new emblems. Could we do this with a core price if we send in our own emblems?

can somebody add me for font and back A emblems.

 

A pic of all the emblems on any color TL-S (preferably light colored since there are more of them). This way both TL type owners can get a feel for the look. You already mentioned the difficulties of doing the TL-S portion.

Would it be possible to have these amp emblemed? I think the black chrome would look sick with the light behind it on the front grill.

Have Blue LEDs inside, so a blue emblem would be sweet. Would have to see the cost though.

Amp'd wow never seen that! Haha, but wait....my somehow our front and rear A are overpriced at $95 but Amp'd ones are $217? I know theirs are using added equipment and all but...$217 is a lot for a pair of emblems!

maybe because a lot of people can thing a better way to spend 100$. you can get type-s depo tails for 120$, and that's 2 whole tail lights. This is just a small piece of plastic.

 

You know, Type-R red H emblems that nearly all Civic and Integra JDM people get are $50 each. $100 for a pair of high-end emblems is not to bad. You are making it sound bad by comparing it to cheap knockoff Chinese lamps, but that is not really apples to apples.

For what it's worth -- I ordered the entire kit when it was first released, and still have not received it. I do hope these really do exist!!

It has been over a month now, and nothing -- no emblems, no word on where they are, or IF I will ever see them. BUT, they have been gracious enough to accept payment on these. Any input would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!
