the refills will not fit the OEM blades. They're rectangle in profile and wide, not tapered/trapezoidal like the OEM refills.

You'll need to make the one time purchase of the whole PIAA assembly.

Honestly, I tried a lot of the aftermarket wipers... including those big huge "reflex" ones that are suppose to spread the pressure all the way to the tip of the blade. They were all terrible.
Best ones I've had are actually the acura wipers with the honda inserts from the dealership....

I'll have to keep that in mind, on my old Volvo I had the same issue. All those fancy wipers wouldn't clean sweep for shit. Grab a set from the dealer and it was a done deal.

Exactly, and its not like the oem wipers aren't any good. They do the job!
And as long as you have the acura wipers still, the dealership inserts are about $3 each and usually they will just put them in for you.

That's great, thanks for the information. I'm constantly finding out that maintaining the Acura will be much more budget friendly than the Volvo was. For example OEM blades used to run me ~$35 bucks!

I'll have to see if I can find an Acura stamp on my wipers, I'm not sure. They're nothing fancy so maybe they are original.

interesting. i bought piaa refills for the MDX, and they fit fine with the OEM blade assembly. i have the piaa super silicone blades on the TL (whole assmbly), so i dont' see how they could be different. granted i didnt' try with the TL. i'm just saying the refills fit the MDX. kind of odd that the refills wouldn't fit on the TL.

blah you may be right. I just remembered that the blades I had before weren't OEM...they were Bosch MicroEdge Excels.

they may fit i guess!

The PIAA blade i have has been problem free thus far.

the piaa refills will fit the OEM blade assmebly. he brainfarted and realized he didn't have the OEM blade assembly on his car...hence it did'nt fit. (see post #47)

i hate the rain-x beam blades. i HAD them on my car until one day (while it was raining), the passanger side blade snapped off and flew onto the hwy. the remaining bracket scratched my windshield so be warned...

they look nice...until they break!

I am surprised to see so many bad reviews on the Bosch Icons. I had one set of them on my car for two years without one problem. I finally decided to replace them when i needed to replace the blades on my wifes car. The Rain-X Latitude blades were on sale so i decided to try them. Worst decision. They didnt last 30 days and on my car one of them keeps popping off when i touch it to clean the window. I guess i will be taking the peoples advice and go try the PIAA

OEM blade size is 650mm driver and 475mm passenger. Honda dealers do not have that actual blade they Tl uses originally but I did some measuring and I am currently running OEM blades from 2 different Hondas. Driver is 650mm from 08-11 Civic and passenger is 475mm 08-12 Accord. These are the the best blades I have ever used and they look more updated than the normal Tl blade IMO.

Just order them online and they are super cheap.
This.

I think I paid like $40 for the blades, but I get the rubber inserts for free from my dealer.

it really bugs me that Honda didn't simplify it's integers into a more efficient base unit.
