Bosch Icon vs Bosch Evolution vs PIAA Silicone Wipers??

Also, has anyone used Rain-X cleaner on the windshield glass in conjunction with any of these blades? has that made a difference? does anyone else recommend using some other type of window cleaner/conditioner to keep the window clean of dirt and debri so that the wipers work the best?
I work at Kragen O'reilly and I can tell you that the Evolutions are kind of like a more economical choice if you really want a frameless blade, they are a few dollars cheaper than Icons. The Icons are still their better wipers though.

PIAA wipers @ pep boys... no longer free shipping?

This is using fedex express saver...

Sub Total: $14.51
Shipping total: $9.96
Tax total: $0.00
Grand total: $24.47

Am I doing something incorrect or did they finally kill the deal?

Thumbs up Adding to this old convo...

I was gonna get PIAA's but my lendor wouldn't give me a second mortgage on my house...so I shopped around - LOL!!!!

I went with the trico neoform beam blades. I picked them up online at wipers123.com for about $14 each. They're the newer frameless blades and have a teflon coating that keeps them from bouncing around and making noise. They totally rock 7 months later - even in the snow and salt and slop we're having in Wisconsin right now.

PIAA wipers? Let me Google that for you. But seriously, goto retailmenot.com and enter your commerce site. Unfortunately, you cannot query by product. You'll have to query each site individually to determine if it has a promo code going on.

06 RL Driver side wiper blade

This is a 28" behemoth wiper arm not to mention the pain in the ass finding a replacement. Watch the two tiny screw needing to be removed while extracting the blade. Anyone have any insight on replacing the blades? Doesn't seem to be a readily available wiper blade.

I almost ordered both last night from amazon, right and left side, I fell asleep and tried to order this morning, and only the 26" was available through amazon, the 19" refill was no longer offered through amazon, I ended up paying 4.99 for shipping,

$6.37 for the 19"
$12.48 for the 26"

prices are for shipped items.

going to call PIAA tomorrow for the free treatment, will update afterward.

BUMPING OLD THREAD WARNING

Bare with me, I ramble.

I have an 04 Tsx and 08 TLS. A well known mod for the 04-06 Tsx is to use 07-08 Tsx wiper arms and blades that are much lower profile than stock. So I was sizing up my leftover 04 Tsx arms on my 08 TLS and they are very close in size. I checked the parts listing, TSX 04-08 blades are 650mm and 400mm, and 08 TLS blades are 650mm and 475mm respectively. Has anyone tried this swap? I didnt find anything but this thread when searching.

Here is my 04 Tsx with 07 wiper arms and blades, notice its below the black line of the windshield, you cant see them from inside the car when down.

I'm just guessing but I doubt anyone with a TL has gone to the smaller TSX blade. Maybe I'm misunderstanding our question.

I've been tempted to try these for years but I love the silence of my frameless Bosch Icons. Performance is very good. The downside is living in a dry hot area I'm replacing wipers every year, sometimes able to squeeze two years out of them. It seems like using the windshield washer more often during the summer helps. Silicone would almost surely be the cure for the longevity problems but it looks like they only come with the traditional frame style blade.
