The best way to sell a used car?

I'm selling my '04 TL and have little experience in selling used cars. What do you guys think are the best ways to sell a used car?

Currently I have it advertised on cardirect.com and on this website.

Thanks

My GF had a good experience at Carmax and they offered a fair price for her car.

Saved her the time and effort of cleaning it up and taking pictures and advertising it and fielding phone calls and replying to emails and showing people the car - it goes on and on and on.

I have always had good luck with both Craigslist and Autotrader.com.

Having a car fax is a big plus. I would go to Carmax and get a quote from them first. Autotrader has been my place for selling my past cars.

I just bought an 06 TL, so I'm trying to unload my 1997 Honda Accord. I just washed, waxed, and cleaned the interiors. I'm trying to fix all the little things that don't work. I'm gonna try Craigslist first, but be sure to keep renewing the ad, or it will quickly go to the bottom of the pile. Try to look for an area in the city where people leave their cars to be sold. There seems to be one in most cities.

When I sold my Civic in 2000, I used Autotrader (got a few calls) and paid $20 to leave it at a used car parking lot. You can leave it there every weekend until it sells.

Also, I think the key is to price your car appropriately, take plenty of pictures, and include more details in your listing. G'luck.
