Best way to get tar off of the car?
Hi guys. The streets of the town I work in are covered with potholes from this past winter. They finally started to put some fresh gravel in to fill the holes, but the only problem is they were doing it in the middle of the afternoon when everyone was going back and forth on one of the busiest roads there.
When I drove through the fresh tar and gravel, the tar did splash up against the lower sides and rear bumper of my car. I took the car in today for a wash prior to installing my new a-spec front lip kit and noticed that the tar stains are still stuck all over the car.
My question is, what do you all recommend as the best way to get this stuff off? I know there are various bug and tar removal products but I wanted to see if anyone had something that worked well for them. BTW I own a 2005 WDP so black tar is VERY noticeable on that color!
