Best price for 2008 TL

I had previously considered buying an 09 Accord fully loaded, but after the test drive I have totally changed my mind. Now researching 08 TLS. So far, here is what I have been offered: 08 TL basic: $29000 and 08 TL w/navi $31000. What's odd is that neither dealer seems to want to budge from that price or offer any other perks. Your thoughts please. My lease is up in two months and not in a big hurry to get another another car since I have an SUV. Not sure if to wait it out.. knowing chances of any 08s will be gone.

When i was looking at an '08 TL w/Navi back in November I was being offered $28,600 with out negotiating, just saying I have a lower deal from another dealer. That was all over the internet sales department too, so my suggestion is to try that. Or try a different dealer...

I have been totally upront that I am "researching" other deals, and I am amazed that no one has offered a better deal. Not sure what's going on.

Supply & Demand in action .....A lot of people were disappointed in the 09 TL which is putting some upward pressure on the price of remaining 08's.

That's possible but a stretch IMO, as the market is flooded w/ 3rd gen. TLs. I'm more inclined to think that this dealership is just trying to make a buck and seeing if the hard line approach will work w/ the OP. Even if people don't like the '09 overall, the market still states that an old body style and a car that is almost over a year old is not worth as much as it used to be.

I really wouldn't pay over $29,000 for an untitled '08, and even that is being generous IMO.

There is a very nice RBP 2008 TL-S with very low miles for sale in the Acurazine black market. If I didn't already own one, I would be all over it.

The market the OP lives in may play a role here too. If your in Socal, your probably gonna pay sub 29k for 08 w/ Navi. In Idaho (figuratively speaking), probably not.

To the OP- 31k for a 08 Navi is not bad per se. It's essentially 5k off sticker. If you like the car and if it is in your favorite color combo and within your budget, go for it.

The TL-S did not come in RBP, it was KBP (Kinetic Blue Pearl) which was a little cooler and flashier of a color IMO.

Oops your right it's MRP instead of RBP. Anyway it's red. Here's the link to the KBP and MRP listings. Personally I like the MRP better than the KBP.
Good prices on both.
