Beginning of the End

lol speaking of low mileage Type S. Most of them are under the radar now, imagine a few years from now they popping back up on carandbids?
I saw that sticker at Austin track tho, sticker said one thing and the direction Acura heading is another, leets hope the Integra isn't another Type S.
How is your TL holding out buddy?

I am excited about the integra and I hope it’s more than just a label on an average car. The reality is, for me, now, I’m all set on the 2 doors. I really wanted a solid sport sedan ( or sport wagon, but those are a total bust in the USA ).
We’re you at the track in Texas??

I always loved this review by MotoMan. You're going to have such a blast owning this thing. Do a stage 1 DME tune and forget about it.. +157 HP / +73 TQ. You might be slightly quicker than a stock M5..

Didn't I already address the engine specifications to you? Please move on and enjoy your 4th gen TL
#46
I can send you similar specifications about the fact that the earth is flat, but it will not become flat after that. Therefore, if you write a hundred times that the N63 engine is reliable, then it will not cease to be the most unreliable BMW engine. Please move on and enjoy your 3th gen TL

I, unlike you do enjoy my TL including the other vehicles I own but I'm not here harp on some bullshit. Many modify their vehicles including the same BMW you keep knocking. I for one am one of those people and I could careless about what anyone's opinion is on my own vehicles. BMW has built better engines and have become more reliable but tell YOU that is a waste of time. So with that being said, we thank you for your "opinion" but it's time to go

I haven't decided. If I was going to keep it I would have to replace the dash top, which is cracking like all of them, and the windshield. It has a small star, but the pitting of the soft glass Honda uses on their vehicles is a pain when you're heading into a rising or setting sun.
Other than that it runs great and has like new brakes and tires.

My M550i has been finished and through QA. It is now awaiting a train ticket to the port where it will catch a ship to Baltimore.
In the meantime my beloved TL Type-S turned into a DeLorean and returned to 2002! Or maybe a TARDIS was involved. In any event Acura now admits that EVERY Acura with a factory NAV built before 2012 has gone back in time.
I'm getting less sad to say goodbye to the cracked dash, sticky passenger window and wacky NAVI.

Acura be like "Are you interested in our new Integra? 272 HP it would be the most powerful Integra ever produced" lol
I hope you enjoy your new car as you did with the TL when new.

as said below; enjoy your bmw as much as you enjoyed the TL!
I was at my local Acura dealer just before Christmas and I asked to get an allocation for a NSX TypeS, didn’t work.

Well, at long last my M550i caught the train to Bremerhaven and, after sitting at the dock for a month, is currently on a ship heading to Baltimore estimated to arrive a week from today. Then there's a few days of unloading and clearing customs, followed by a stretch while it waits for two electronics modules to be installed.

The End arrived Monday
After waiting 195 days, my new M550i was delivered to me Monday. I'm sad to say goodbye to my '07 Type-S 6MT, but I'm excited to play with my new toy.
There's a ton to learn about all the options and possible configuration choices. I feel like I'm in second grade.

Congratulations Mike! I'm excited for you and your wife. Your M550i is gorgeous! You made all the right choices and got to experience something that RARELY anyone has the money to experience. Truly a magnificent and one of a kind vehicle. It's a shame you won't get much of a positive response here, but i'm sure on the BMW forum you are getting all the praises. Welcome to the BMW family.

I’m sure you will miss the rattles of the TL and the front doors closing on your foot if it’s not perfectly lodged in the notch.
Enjoy the BMW, it looks really good! I could smell that interior through the pics, well done!
