I was driving my silver beauty a few weeks ago on 11th Street in Tracy when another silver TL pulls next to me and gives me a thumbs up. Then, a few nights ago, I saw a silver A-Spec on I-580 getting on I-238 around midnight. I was wondering if anyone on here owns those beauties.

Way back to March, I was on the way to Union Square from the airport, I saw 2 or 3 04TLs on the highway... that's the first impression about this city...

yup, i live in the san francisco bay area and the TL's are a dime a dozen here now. when i picked up my silver TL back in feb, i was turning heads each time i get on the road. now, i see 3 or 4 on my 15 min drive to work! i also park amongst 4 or 5 '04 TL's at work when i get there

I live in San Mateo and about 10 houses down from me, my neighbor has a green 04TL. but in all honesty, i haven't seen that many on the road...although they are beginning to crop up. fortunately...i haven't seen too many nbp. i have seen a lot of ssm's tho'.

We saw a silver TL and a green TL yesterday (11/15/04) at McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas at lunch time. We were bummed that we had to leave ours at home and were in hubby's truck. BTW, both of the TL's we saw had rear deck wings.

Yup, do see a lot of TL's on the road and about 6 other TL's in our (big) campus parking lot.

But, then september was a good month for auto sales ...

I was over in SF for about a week and saw a lot of TLs. I also noticed there were a lot of Lancer Evolutions. I live in houston where every car on the road is a SUV or truck that think they can run everyone off the road. SF knows how to choose their cars .

I'm back to Bay Area again, but only see a few TLs since last week. The average is about 1 TL per day... but I saw one 05RL a few days ago...

In the summer in Marin I had the one of the only TL's on the road...now whenever I am home I see quite a few more although not nearly as many as I do when I go south of the bridge. Either they are just hiding on the weekends or most have them as their backup car and dont put many miles on them.

When I first got mine, I had seen maybe five total (I got mine on July 2).

Now, I see at least one (other than mine) everyday. Just today I saw for the first time a DMM.

I see a lot of SSMs, but not you, Jerky. Most of those I see have plates already. Just as I expected, two more SSMs last evening. Saw one Anthracite the other day.

Just yesterday, 11/29/04, I saw another RRP 05 TL at McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas! Wow! Nice car! It had the ASPEC and some other mods. I talked to the guy and told himabout Acurazine. Maybe we'll have another Bay Area member!

There must be a pretty high concentration in the Bay Area. I was at a symposium at Stanford last month and I saw 3 in the parking lot there, then I went to dinner at Pizza Chicago in Palo Alto and saw 1 in the parking lot there, then I was at The Great Mall of the Bay Area and saw 3 in the parking lot there.

I'm lucky if I see one a week here in the DC area.

NYC has lots of "population", too. Tons of TLs are around the neighborhoods here, from LI to NJ.

I was in Palo Alto 2 weeks ago for a symposium, too, and saw the same thing plus one 05RL. (Besides, your school is very cool. )

hello everyone,

Im sure this has been asked many times but i'm in the market for a new car and @ the SF car show I fell in love with the TL. I was wondering which dealership people have been getting good service with. I live really close to Mike Havery in burlingame. Has anybody had any problems withi them. And also which dealership seems more inclined to haggle. Also any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Also i was wondering what TL owners have been paying for there cars.

Heard that Mike Harvey sales were not that easy to deal with.
I bought my 05 Anthracite/Ebony/Navi last night at Acura of Serramonte.
Paid $33.5 and the sales guy threw in wheel locks and the trunk tray.
I negotiated the price on the phone, then went in to sign the papers. No hassle, no pressure, no haggling... LOVED IT.

Yea, but Neorick didn't tell you his is an 04, purchased in July/August. I think you got the best deal on an 05/Navi/5AT reported so far.
