battery in switchblade key

battery in switchblade key

Hi all,
Does anybody know where is the location of the battery in the switchblade key?

Initially I thought you just push the backing open since there's six little tiny dots at the end of the backing, which looks like something you push to replace battery...

But I don't think that opens up, so it's not there.

I took apart the switchblade key and found the unit with the buttons is. The battery must be inside of that, but how do you open the unit to get to the battery?

Looks like you just have to pry it open with a small flat head screw driver that has a small cloth wraped around the head (to protect the plastic).

Here's what you can find in your manual on pages 100-101:
