Battery life of BT phone

Does the bluetooth mode ON drains the battery life faster?

Just curious.

For those who just got Mot V600, how is the battery life of this phone?

Thanks.

If I have my V525 in my car it only will last a day.

If I don't it will last a week before recharge. The Bluetooth connection REALLY sucks the life out of the phone.

Make sure you have it plugged into the power cord when in the car.

Nokia 6310i, Sony Ericsson P800 and P900, Sony Ericsson T68i with bluetooth on does not drain terrible fast. It is somewhat noticeable though.

Does anyone know what to jumper in the fusebox to make the center (armrest) console power plug stay on when the car is turned off? There was a discussion about this a while ago, but I don't recall seeing a solution. Anyway, with the V600/BT setup, I'm not driving enough to keep the phone as charged as I'd like.

There was a member usually leaving his cell in the car, so he prefers having the same setting as you've mentioned above (ignition off, but power supply on), which would make his cell charged...

Don't know how to though.

Yep, that was someone else, but I happen to do the same thing. I guess I'll press the dealer for info, should be going in for service soonish.

Bluetooth does drain the phone's battery. It makes the already poor V600 battery life terrible. It's still worth the trouble though. After watching lots of near misses by people taking on their cell phones, I'm convinced the TL's Bluetooth appraoch is the future.

Exclamation Got Bluetooth?

Hey!

Are you using your Moto V600 with HFL? What data does it send to the MID? Everything but battery state? Does it do Caller ID OK? Must the ID be in the car phone book or does it also identify numbers in the cell phone's phone book?

Anybody? Anybody? <Ben Stein's voice>
