Is the car stock from an electronics perspective? Are you running any amps / accessories?

i had the Braille 21lb and it worked GREAT, until my car killed it like 5months later but during that time it started better than with any of the 2-3 stock batteries i also ended up killing.

I've had my Optima Red Top 35 for a little over a year now. Works great and saved a little weight too!!! I think Optima is offering a $25 rebate right now. Check it out...

I use to work at an auto parts retail store and most optimas didn't last over 2-3 years. They are great for offroading or for racing for their dry cell construction, but not practical and a waste of money for our cars.

I also said that my car has killed a load of OEM batteries too, and the dealership cant find anything "wrong", so i dont know. i am still under warranty for the battery but i have yet to hear back from Braille. Could have been a bum battery,or it could be a curse. But i know others who are running with the Braille and have been happy, its just $$ if it dies...

I had my Yellow Top in my 04 TSX for 6 months, then switched it over to the TL-S and I've had it in there for about a year and a half. So total of about 2 years now and no issues.

Red top for starting battery!
Yellow top for accessory battery!

I've killed 3 yellow tops in 18 months until I finally read that they are semi-deep cycle and shouldn't be used as primary batteries.

The red top is perfect for your main battery.

I've had my red top in my accord for 2 years and switched it over to the TL for about a year now. 3 years and no problems so far.

I picked mine up from Coscto. Might save you a few bucks
