This is a good place to vent but no need to bash Acura since you have the choice to buy anything you want.

Hopefully I am learning lessons everyday here from reading the posts ...

 

I think Im a little late but I just wanted to say, Just because an accident wasnt your fault doesnt mean you couldnt have avoided it. Your stop sign example, yes the dumbass blew the stopsign BUT if you were paying close attention to your driving, you could have and would have stopped before he hit you. We encounter into alot of dumbass drivers and near accident experiences but most of the time its just that, near accident experiences because we were able to prevent it. Not saying its your fault or not, but Im just saying that if you pay closer attention to the road you have better chance of avoiding accidents. Unless maybe its a case like someone sunddenly runs off their lane and right into you, but most of those cases the driver is most likely drunk, high, ect. Usually normal people, even dumbass drivers, dont drive that reckless.

 

Are you sure no rocks kicked up or there wasn't anything that might have went under your car and tinkered with your steering? Also I think you might have tweaked a control arm when, because I'm guessing you jerked the car left when you saw the dude in front of you crash to avoid him. I bet when you went onto the median you must have tweaked it popping the curb or on some uneven surface in the median. Keep in mind that the TL has an aluminum subframe and control arms so they're pretty fragil.

 

wow this thread is getting out of control. if he wants to blame acura then let him blame... im not on anyones side... but its his car so let him do what ever he wants... mods please close this thread.

to be honest I dont know if any rocks kicked up I didnt feel anything I didnt see anything.....I did get out to inspect everything and it all looked ok....oh well....shit happens.....it is what it is.....im dropping it off at acura and a suitcase of money to fix it all LOL.... whatta mess.....MODS PLEASE CLOSE THIS THREAD I THINK WE'VE ALL INSULTED EACHOTHER ENOUGH

Yeah, when you're flying around like that, you probably wont notice things you might have run over or rocks/dirt that might have damaged things.

anyways, most people are pissed, because the car basically allowed you to evade a life threatening situation, and instead of appreciating this fact, you blame acura when you damaged it running off the road into the median, like its the manufacturers fault for not designing the car to handle such things. Quit your bitchin and be happy that it wasnt worse. A lot worse.

or he can quit blaming acura and show some integrity unlike you.

 

ok from my knowledge a rack isnt supposed to blow from something like that the cars are made to be ripped to the side if need be or whatever the circumstance may be to avoid getting into an accident......im pissed and blame acura becuz it did break for a reason it wasnt supposed to break for. thats it.

you. some are avoidable and some are not.

however, you shouldnt blame acura on this. they didnt cause the
accident in front of you. must have hit something which caused the rack to break.

 

dude...go take lessons in driving school (skip barber and/or others, perhaps your local driving school) and pickup a webster's dictionary at barnes & noble on your way back to your house to help your spelling!
