Like many of us, I have read bad reviews from the car mags on the TL.... No RWD... blah blah blah...

I don't care about what these articles say. I'm mature enough to make up my own mind on what I prefer. On the other hand... good reviews drives up demand for cars. Some dealers, who are basically scum, charge something under the guise of "Market Value Add" which is essentially, additional dealer markup on popular cars. I remember the stupidity of some people who paid 40k for one of the first S2000s.

I like the TL. Those of us purchasing a TL do not need insane demand to encourage dealers to gouge. Nor do we want our cars to be popular targets for theft.

I have seen universally good reviews of the TSX. Great. After these folks buy their TSXs they can realize what a great car the TL is and help support my trade in value when the 300hp AWD RL finally appears.

In the meanwhile... I hope those english majors continue to dislike the TL.

 

I haven't read many negative reviews and the ones that do complain about the lack of RWD never say what they actually drive, it would be funny to find out they bought front wheel drive for the same reasons we did.

Reviews are always biased in some way. Some are for us, some against....
