Angry Bad, Bad, Bad Neighbor

My baby was hurt this afternoon between 10am-7:30pm. There is a 16" key scuff on the upper front passenger fender. Some parts of the scratch are sooooo deep that it's down to the black base!

I honestly believe that it was a disgruntled neighbor because she was parked so damn close (on the right side of the car) and she hates me because she's an old single Bisch.

Anyway, I filed a police report, called insurance, and because there's no evidence of her keying the car, they couldn't do anything to her. I took pictures of the parking lot as it was found and of the damage.

I'm scared that the dealer will charge lots to repair. I will have my revenge. :enforcer:

I'd love to play CSI, but the Bisch was arrested tonight!! I don't even know what for. Four police cars came and took her kid away and transported her away! I'm not kidding. But I can't get her keys, and there's no evidence that she did it. Someone needs to come foward.

A liberal application of "Round Up" on her lawn and shrubbery - that's how we handle these things in Joisey.

Some people

I witnessed someone trying to key my old vehicle a couple of months ago! Was sitting in the car (97 Mercedes C class with perfect condition maroon paint) waiting for my friend to come out of the grocery store. A man walked by the front of the car (right by the star), it was at night and I had tinted windows so he looked into the car and saw no one, pulled out a key or some other object and...then I opened my door and got out! He broke into a full sprint across the parking lot, lol and my hood was saved. Sorry about yours, I have a NBP now and any sort of knick, scratch, dirt, etc show horribly. All it is is jealous and envy, why do we have so many haters in the world? When I see a Bentley or S class benz or ferrari(which my neighbor has), I think "nice car man" not "just wait til I key that one"

True. What goes around comes around. She was arrested last night; I think it was from Child protective services. But she's back today, and she parked next to my husbands' Chevy SS. We straight moved it and have all our neighbors looking out for us. I had to rent one of those $80/mo. garage.

I have an appointment to get it fixed on Tuesday. I'll try and get pics up tomorrow. Thanks for the sympathy/empathy.

R U certain he wasnt trying to jack your Benz??

As for NYC, it's the only part of the country where its common to see expensive cars with door dings and key marks. Welcome to the Jungle!

I *almost* bought a Civic Si, because I know I'm going to cry when I get the first door-ding or key mark. It sucks that having a nice car makes you a target for bitter, under-acheiving people, but it does. It's quite a shame and I feel badly for you.

I hope it all works out in the end.

Don

HA! HA! I don't want to seem mean or anything, but... my neighbor who I highly suspect of scratching my car, got in a car accident. Her volvo's front grill and bumper are smooshed in. I'm so glad I let karma do its job.
