i made an appointment 4 a window tint and i didnt do it ( i was pissed belive me) and heres why.... the guy who was supposed to it told me he cant cover the little dots under the 3rd brake light is that possible???????
if ur from NYC area and konw who could do it the right way send me an adress and phone # thanx

 

Tom at theartoftint.com does a great job. James at Jamestint.com does just as good a job but he is a bit of a drive. Definitely better prices at James though. Both these guys work on high end cars and will tint whatever you need.

 

They cannot cover the black dots, but those dots are not noticable. the dots are actually little pieces of , I think paint , stuck on the windshield. Feel them, they are bumpy. There is no way to get tint inbetween the dots.

 

Make sure they remove the 3rd brake light.

The dots will not be completely blacked out but you'll see a consistent pattern around your window and around the brake light...kinda like a very thin frame.

It won't look bad. Check out everyone elses.

Don't 4get to make sure they do the quarter window correctly or that rubber gasket will stick out like a sore thumb.
