i have been swamped at work and i need to get it done by the dealer
they quoted me $120.

i searched but couldnt really get a price point. is this a good price?

Seems a little bit much for an oil change and tire rotation

Acura of Brookfield in Wisconsin wanted $184 for B1 Service on a 04 6MT w/ 47k miles. I got a flyer from them telling me they charge $32 for oil changes. So, essentially they overcharge $152 to rotate the tires.

B1 Recommended service:

Replace engine oil and oil filter
Rotate tires
Inspect front and rear brakes
Check parking brake adjustment
Inspect tie rod ends, steering gear box, and boots
Inspect suspension components
Inspect driveshaft boots
Inspect brake hoses and lines (including ABS)
Inspect all fluid levels and condition of fluids
Inspect exhaust system#
Inspect fuel lines and connections#

You know what; I'm extremely upset with myself because I paid them $184 for B1 service. It was my first time taking my TL in for service and I didn't know any better. I'm pissed off. Thanks to this site, I am smarter Acura owner.

Mine was calling for the B service last week (not B1, just plain B) and they charged me $86.07 parts and labor ($36.12 for parts, $49.95 for labor denoting half an hour because the hourly rate is $99.90). I get free oil changes from Radley Acura, so that may have made a difference on the price as they broke that out separately on the invoice.

Is it really necessary to take our cars in for these services, if it is just generic stuff that they are doing and also ramming us in the end?
