Automatic Door lock?
Do the doors on the 06 TL automatically lock?

Correct-- changeable using the MID for auto lock, auto unlock, etc.

I have mine set so when it is locked and I unlock it, if I don't open the door within 30 secs it will auto lock.

actually, i believe it's also a driver specific setting depending on which key you use to lock.

You can set it up in your MID display.

I have mine set to lock as soon as I shift out of park and unlock as soon as I shift back into park. There are several other options as well. It is definitely in your owner's manual so check it out!
