AUTO UNLOCK when ignition off...
is this a problem with my car or do i have to change the settings?
When I drive, all the doors automatically lock, but then when I park, only my drivers side door unlocks and the passenger side doesn't...and I have to click on the unlock button. normally, i thought all the doors would unlock....I have the setting to when I unlock with keyfob, only drivers side unlocks and when I have auto unlock, ignition off...i left it this way thinking I can click unlock twice and unlock all the doors...

You have to set the keyfob to open all doors, because the lock/unlock when driving works off of that setting. As you have seen, if the keyfob setting is to open only the driver's door, then the auto door unlock setting will only open the driver's door.

There is no choice here for how many doors unlock or don't unlock. The only choices are whether you lock or unlock the doors, and if you choose to unlock the doors, when this happens.
What I said above is correct: "if the keyfob setting is to open only the driver's door, then the auto door unlock setting will only open the driver's door."
If you want them all to unlock, you have to change the WHENEVER UNLOCKING setting from "DRIVER DOOR" to "ALL DOORS". This setting will then apply both to the keyfob opening and the Auto Door Lock (when using the shift lever) setting.

man, that's stupid..I'll go try it when I get to my car after work...but most other cars..have it so you can click once to open driver door then click twice to open all doors...and have it so then ign is off, it opens all doors. also, I have manual, so I don't have shift to P feature.

I never said it was smart, I just said that is the way it is. I guess Acura figured if you wanted to keep the other three doors locked, for safety, when you opened the driver's door, you would probably want the same thing to happen when you stopped the car.
When you set it to unlock only the driver's door, you have to push the unlock button again to open the other doors, and when you put it in park or turn off the ignition, you will have to press a button top open the other doors, so the net result is an extra button push each time.
It's also handy to keep the other 3 doors locked when you stop so little kids don't open the door and jump out before they are supposed to, or adults don't open a door when a car is coming too close and then rips off the door.
I agree it would have been nice to have a separate option for each action, giving you the choice based on your particular requirements, but they just didn't do it that way.
