I just did the 3 quart drain and fill on my TL at 30,000. The drain plug with the magnite had some metal sludge build up on it. I wiped it clean but was wondering if this could be a problem? I'm going to do another drain and fill in 15,000 and check it again. What do you think? Thanks

 

thats normal and the reason it has a magnetic plug!
The 3 qts is a total waste IMO!! do a full 3x3 or do nothing at all
The trans holds 7.3 qts- so how is replacing 1/2 of it doing any real good??
Mixing old and new oils does NOT restore the amount of special additives in the oil.

 

wheres a good place to buy honda atf? local dealer asks 8.25 a qt, is that avg?

 

we can get Honda ATF here for $7.50
