recently went to change my ATF Fluid. Bolt sort of rounded off so I will be purchasing a nut grabber kit to remove.
Will need to replace ATF refill bolt too. Which Honda vehicle uses a simliar bolt so I can purchase this at the Honda parts depart. vs giving my business to paragon acura. ( not a fan of paragon, plus the same bolt will probably be 5 bucks more at P.A

btw...its strange that its stripped. I've been using the same socket with no issues.
Only thing I can think of is the ring wasn't placed back on so perhaps the bolt is seized =(

could try the v6 7th gen accord. They share the same engine design.

The bolt looks the same as our Honda Pilot as well- I would be shocked if it was not the same part. You can always tell by comparing parts numbers at a site like Bernardiparts.com which stocks both Honda and Acura. I did that for the AT pressure sensors and both the Acura and Honda had the exact same part numbers so I ordered double.

How hard is it to understand " ATF Re-fill bolt" sits on top of the transmission.
I ended up going to pep boys and purchased a 1/4in. hose repair kit.
I screwed it into the end of a long funnel i have and re-filled via the dipstick filler.
btw...honda has no idea if the pilot even has an ATF filler bolt. Guess i'll order from acuraautomotiveparts.

I think it would help if you referred to the bolt as the ATF drain bolt and leave 'fill' out of the name. The part number is 90081-PX4-003 for Acura and it's the same for the Honda Accord too. Bernardi sells it for $6.05 + shipping.

oops- my mistake sorry! Not sure why I thought it was the drain bolt. Thanks for clarification CS. That bolt is a pain to loosen the first time but is pretty easy now since I don't torque the crap out of it anymore. Best to use a 6-point socket on that one to save trouble stripping it.
