thats the 1st thing i check if they don't have at least a few thousand and a very high positive feedback percentage i wont even bother.

I've ordered a kit for my 07 TL and everything worked out fine, same guy but it was a private sale. You can contact him and find out if he still has 08 kits.

Ya, looks kinda iffy. Looks like they are in black primer unless thats the NBP kit.

Here's a decent deal from a genuine Acura dealer. This is where I just got mine from. Came with an Acura invoice, instructions, factory packaging and they ship super fast. Ordered the kit last Monday and was at my door Thursday afternoon. They also have 98.9% feedback and are a top-rated seller.

come on fellows, a business has to start some place....today if a seriously legit buyer is having some kind of promotion to start up his business, thats what we all do....who knew the first batch of greddy exhaust for the 3G TL will be shipped to you for $600.....

Am not saying jump into it blindly neither the OP is saying ONLY buy from him....he just found a deal and letting us know....

OP....you have to know there a various things with the ASPEC kit....fitment first, color, color match, etc....and hence people like buying from the dealership....A lot of people here have the hook up and some dealers are vendors on this site....I would recommend buying from them....It comes out to $700-ish if you buy from ACKTL05....so not too much more and you know your not being ripped off wrt fitment/color/etc...

Agreed.. take it from experience. I'm never buying kits like this for any of my cars again. Since it's EBAY brand, it probably is cheap material that will crack if you hit a pebble, 2nd if it's not from Acura it won't fit right, and looks like shit. ...3rd, its eBay... It's all about quality, not quantity. Don't do this to your TL. She/He deserves better.

 

The lip kit looks legit, but like others have said, these look "unpainted" hence the pricing.....my

 

^^^ the ebay listing says "mention the color code you want" by which its safe to assume the lip kit will come painted....

 

That just proves that it isn't OEM.

All kits come pre-painted. Not worth it. Fork out a hundred or so and get it done right.

 

You must've gotten ripped off before or something huh ..anyways going on forward even if this is a scam there's always a protection for your refunds if it's done thru paypal right? You can buy the item through ebay and pay through paypal to play it safe.

x2, no matter who you are or how big of a operation you run, everyone on Ebay starts with 0 feedback.

Ebay is just a marketplace. The seller is what matters. Statements like the above one don't actually make much sense because there are reputable Acura dealers selling 100% perfect OEM parts on Ebay... right along side the guys selling the replica stuff. You can buy good stuff on Ebay, but you just need to pay attention to who the seller is.
