ASM Type S with Black Chrome A-specs?

After tons of searching, I cant seem to find the exact example I'm thinking of, although I'm thinking someone must have one.

I am quite possibly getting a 2008 ASM Type-S next week, and at the same time I have a chance at purchasing some Black Chrome A-Specs with nearly new tires. I just cant seem to find a picture with that exact combo. I would likely put the A-Spec lip kit on in the near future, so pictures with or without the lip kit would work.

I just cant decide if I want the rims or not. Does anyone have this combo, or a picture of this color/rim combo?

Thanks! I know I'm brand new here, but I've been researching on the site for some time now. Gotta say, this is a heck of a car community, and as active as any I've seen. Can't wait to be a part of it!

personally i wouldnt bother with the A-Spec wheels unless your getting them for like 100 or 200 for the set. There are so many better looking wheels for the same amount or less money.

When I was thinking I would be getting a WDP Type-S, I think I was more inclined to switch to the A-Specs. But on the silver, I really do think the Type-S rims look nice.

And the price would be about 750 (or less if could get him down), including a nice set of tires with about 5K on them.

definitely get the ebony chrome a-specs, they look so nice spinning or even just sitting still!... would look gorgeous on the ASM!!!

sorry, i had CGP but you get the idea. On my next 3G TL (when the time comes) i will be slapping on 19" RDX oem wheels however.

defiantly don't pay that much. Personally i wouldn't pay more then 300 for those.

never understood why someone would pay that much for a boring looking wheel that so many people already have. For another few hundred you can get something that actually looks good and you wont see 20 identical sets every day.

^calm down troll.

You already said it once.

Some people just want the luxury, clean, and OEM look. It is called different taste.

300$ for a-spec wheels with tires? hahaha you crazy. I think 750$ is a pretty good price for that

You might see 20 sets everyday here on Azine...out in public you will NOT see these rims all over the place. NOT NEVER!!!! When I have mine on I always get compliments on them.

Here yea go!! Love em

actually i do see them every day. i know of 4 other TL's in my neighborhood with them and know of at least half a dozen more within a 5 mile radius of my house.

maybe if i didn't see them every day my opinion might be different. It just baffles me as to why people go out of their way to look just like everyone else. Have some individuality for once.

^just stop. Just because you see them in YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, does not mean it is popular everywhere else. Stop being one-sided. Thanks

And if anything, it is originality, not individuality. Stop criticizing other people choices on A SPEC wheels, because you're trying to sway people away from a great wheel from your biased opinion because they're tons of them near you.

KJ, first, welcome to Acurazine.

If you do get the Type S, if it has the OEM wheels on it, please realize that those wheels are specific to the Type S. Those wheels say "Type S". Consider that before you buy other wheels.

Second, everyone here needs to calm down. That's all I'm going to say. I hope that's all I need to say.
