These headlight retain the integrated fogs as found in the '04-'06 North American (US and Canadian) headlights, and add a DRL socket as well. In addition, the HID's and fogs are also horizontally adjustable (not found in other versions) and feature a" black-chromed" internal's piece as well as type-s diffusers.

This headlight physically bolts up the same and uses the same HID bulbs as N. American (D2S type), with the exception of a difference with the ballast (HID control box) which mounts the underside of each headlight. The ballast must be same model as that which is found in 06-08 TL's. Because they are a different a size, they dont bolt up the same unless you want to get real crafty and start hacking things up. FYI, A pair of used 06-08 ballasts, or 2007+ mazda 3 ballasts can be found on ebay for around $250. You can try and regain some costs by selling your own if you own a 04-05 set.

The other difference is the turn signal bulb hole which follows a european turn signal bulb socket (WY21) which is very similar to the 1157 socket type as found in the 2007 2008 type-s only but will work with a little muscle! So unless you want to hack up your harness, i'd use some silicone caulking and retain ur 7443 bulb sockets.

Phew, i wont bore you anymore. hehe

i feel like going with JNC and modding my headlights would be much easier than getting these.
