Armrest Compartments?
Armrest Compartments?
Does the center armrest have two compartment areas? I think my wheel lock key is in one of the compartments but can't figure out how to open it.
I know it's in there because I can hear it rolling when braking lol. It is right under the cushion area of the armrest from what I can see.
Also, does the armrest have a lock like the glove box?

There are 2 different release tabs under that front edge of the padded part. Try all the way to the left and all the way to the right...one of them should open it up.
Edit: Also, no lock that i know of.

Like the posters above said, theres 2 latches
==========
------______
The "=====" is the armrest cushion... the area you see when sitting in the car, the area that your elbow goes on
the "------" is one of the latches on the passenger side
the "_____" is the other latch located closest to the drivers side.
Just put your hand under it and move it left and right, you will feel two different latches. Press only one and pull up!

Yeah, as stated above there are indeed 2.
One for larger, and one for small stuff.
Btw does anybody have a rattle from using the armrest (arm on top of handrest) when going over bumps?

It only rattles when my arm is resting (or pushing down) on the armrest.
So picture this:
The arm rest has a spring that holds it up.
My arm rests on it pushing the spring down.
This all happens within a split second lol:
When I go over a bump, my arms obviously bumps up too, taking the load off the armrest. Then my arm falls back down (after being airbourne by the bump) and applies the load on the armrest again which pushes the spring down and makes the bottom of the armrest hit the top of the console.
Probably sounds weird; I need to make a video =D lol
