That's what leather does! ALL leather seats do this. Use a good aloe conditioner regularly and will help it alot!.

Apparently this buttprint issue really has people peeved. Personally, I don't find the buttprints in my '04TL that annoying...but I've noticed that the people on this forum who seem to complain the most about minor problems are in their early to mid twenty's. I don't know if it's just a part of being young and inexperienced with cars, or just having more time to spend posting complaints about what is really a very fine automobile and a bargain compared to the other cars out there on the market. I'm on my 4th Acura, and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

Word!

I hope this is not an indication of what I can expect when i retire and start to draw Social Security against the 20-somethings who need to be paying into the system. If butt prints or whatever they are called cause them to lose rationality, I wonder if they will go into BPSS (Butt Print Stress Syndrome), be unable to work, draw SSI diasability payments, and leave ol' RR by the side of the road, whimpering and drooling for a crust of bread?

Ok, guys

For whatever it's worth, I have a 3"X3" total area vertical lines that resemble speed bumps on my passenger side of my 05 TL. I don't know how it got there, but it doesn't bother me and I don't care. Please don't someone comment that this message is useless without a photo.

Just for your information. However useless!!!

Has anyone tried 'Preperation H' ? .... On your seat that is.

After all, it does help shrink swelling...

According to your birthday, and the age listed below your user name, you are only 38, so next May the butt prints will really bother you.
